FROST AND MIKO 47 AND COPYRIGHT FORM

Thank you for clicking into the Ganerda's Business blog!

Please start your weekend the right way--with Frost & Miko!

Also, as an avid reader and dedicated librarian, I must recommend "Looking for Calvin and Hobbes: The Unconventional Story of Bill Watterson and his Revolutionary Comic Strip" by Nevin Martell. I must confess, I thought the biography was just going to be a puff piece--"Isn't Calvin and Hobbes great? Isn't Bill Watterson great? He was born here, and his favorite color is yellow--Isn't that great?" and so on. After reading the adoring prologue and the gushing epilogue, I agreed that Watterson and his comic strip were great, and I did not need to read 250 pages to know that. Walking to the library, before parting with the book, I perused it for interesting tidbits and was dumbstruck upon reading about his conflict with licensing and merchandising!

I do not want to spoil it. I will only say that Watterson's true life story reads like "The Fountainhead" for our branded and logo covered new millennium.

Fans who wonder where Watterson and his comic strip went, please look for "Looking for Calvin and Hobbes." And Enjoy your Frost & Miko!

Have a lovely weekend,

FROST AND MIKO 45

Hello and thank you for clicking into the Ganerda's Business blog!

How about some updates before you wolf down this week's savory serving of Frost & Miko?

Piermoy and I are done with "Tapetop Turtle: Under the Palm Tree." It is on its way to being bulk printed as we speak. This book was quite difficult to birth! It was supposed to be the first book out of Ganerda's Business, but a lot of things are supposed to be and aren't--so "Tapetop" will wind up being the second of the three books that will be emerging from this business. Thanks to Tiffany and the diligent crew at Regent Publishing Services, our second bouncing baby book will be delivered just in time for San Diego Comic Con International 2010! Thank you Regent!

I am proud to announce that The Speck will soon return! Not one, not two, but five big honking chapters have been written of everyone's favorite shrinking hero. HAFSLACK just has to type them into the computer. Keep your magnifying glasses out to see the next exciting chapters chronicling the exploits of the Speck!

Calling all Goths! On May 1, 2010, Ganerda's Business and VFK Fewings, writer of the epic "Stonemasters" vampire series, will be at Bat's Day in Anaheim. HAFJAK DIVIZ will be there signing copies of his book "STOP MAKING CRAP!" I will be there too, proudly fulfilling my role as this business's trademark character. Many thanks to the Big Lou for telling us about Bat's Day!

That's it! Now please tuck into this week's crunchy yet sweet black and white treat Frost & Miko!
