Edwin Samuelson produces and co-hosts the show with Eric Cohen, Michael Foltz and Jeff Gallashaw. They know their cinema and discuss it with much love and intelligence. I have gathered that they met on a TV quiz show called "Ultimate Film Fanatic." After that, they would meet for movie discussions over pizza, and these discussions evolved into a public access show.
They have tons of half hour episodes on Youtube, and their topics vary from classic horror films to 80's teen flicks to movies made from TV shows. Sometimes they dedicate whole episodes to one director! "The Cinefiles" has the feel of being in a diner with your friends gabbing about the movie you just saw, but these guys are so knowledgable that between the fun, one learns a lot of facts.
